As part of San Ysidro Health’s ongoing efforts to support the growth and development of our employees we offer two financial reimbursement programs and one tuition reduction scholarship.

 

Continuing Education Reimbursement

Allowing for up to $300.00 per year, this program is available for employees seeking reimbursement for job-related workshops and seminars separate from those offered by SYHealth. This program is also available for those employees needing to renew their professional licenses or certificates and is intended to cover the costs of application fees and any classes needed to obtain the necessary CEUs for license renewals.

Tuition Reimbursement

Allowing for up to $1,000.00 per year, this program is available for employees who are pursuing a job-related college degree or professional vocational certification/license from an accredited academic institution. Employees must be enrolled in a program that will result in a degree or professional license and may request reimbursement after the successful completion of each course.

National University Tuition Reduction

SYHealth is proud to partner with National University as a preferred partner to offer a 25% tuition reduction scholarship to employees looking to expand their knowledge and skills for professional and personal growth.

 

The SYHealth Tuition Reduction Scholarship can be applied to most bachelor's and master's degree programs, including programs related to:

• Healthcare administration and community health

• Healthcare data, systems, and informatics

• Nursing (RN to BSN and RN to MSN)

• Management and organizational leadership
