Holiday Schedule
Regular full-time employees receive a total of nine paid holidays on an annual basis. Each year, a new holiday schedule is published based on organizational needs. Some holidays may be fixed while others may be floating. An annual holiday schedule is made
available to all employees and is posted on the HR Intranet.
Observed holiday schedules may vary due to clinic service operations. From the date of hire, regular employees scheduled for a minimum of 20 hours per week are eligible for holiday pay on a prorated basis. Employees will be compensated for the average daily hours configured on the employee’s record.
Our annual floating holiday(s) provides SYHealth employees the opportunity to take paid time off to honor important and meaningful events and dates or to celebrate personal events or dates that may be special to them. If a holiday falls on a weekend date, then it may be observed as a Floating Holiday. Please refer to the holiday schedule. Please note that Urgent Care employees have a different holiday schedule.
